In our inaugural year, we featured readings of three plays, including 2 world premieres:

Memorial Park, by Nic Wehrwein

The Giraffe, by Marz Mraz
The Giraffe is a fantastical comedy that tells the story of a young woman who finds herself faced with uncertainty in her life when a large giraffe suddenly appears in her window with the ability to see her past, present and future and guides her through her day to day struggles by showing her what is to come.

The Unbearable Likeness of Jo, Semity, and Jones, by Georgina Escobar
Wise men say “only fools rush in.” But this is not a story about men. It’s a story about mustached women, a facebook faux pas, jumping without parachutes and the murder of a murderer. Oh, and it’s about Love in a time of digiphrenia and schizophrenia.
